Product Description
The MAC093B-0-OS-4-C/110-B-1/WA605XX from Rexroth is an AC servo motor designed for industrial machinery to accurately control their parts' mechanical movements. This particular motor has a speed of up to 2000 rotations per minute which makes it ideal for controlled speed movement of parts; however, there are other motors in the same series which offer speeds of up to 7000 rotations per minute. This motor is designed to provide torque of up to 14.5 Nm when in a locked position, preventing the motor from changing its position until a control signal or an information signal from the control unit is sent to its encoder.
Speaking of the encoder, the MAC093B-0-OS-4-C/110-B-1/WA605XX supports both an incremental encoder and an absolute encoder. Along with this, it also features a tacho feedback system for speed control and regulation. The tacho voltage this motor can generate is 3 volts for every 1000 rotations, which allows this motor to sense the speed and the need for regulation. To prevent the shaft of this motor from moving from a fixed position, the Rexroth MAC093B-0-OS-4-C/110-B-1/WA605XX features a 6.5 Nm blocking brake which gets energized to prevent the shaft from moving accidentally or due to load, affecting the precision of the motor. Once the motor is energized, the blocking brake may release the brake and allow the shaft to rotate freely.
This motor has a rigid design as it offers an IP 65 rating and an Insulation class F which allows it to survive a maximum temperature of 155 degrees Celsius; however, the rated temperature of this motor recommended by the manufacturer is 45 degrees Celsius maximum for operation and 85 degrees Celsius for storage.
