MAC093B-0-JS-3-C/110-A-2 is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor. It is developed for industrial applications. Approved MAC motor applications include textiles, robotics, machine tools and transfer facilities. MAC motors support tacho feedback and must be deployed in combination with a compatible servo controller. The servo controller performs two main functions: supply of AC power for the motor and control of motor speed, position, and torque. The controller supplies AC power via a power cable that connects to a flanged socket on the motor housing. The controller receives feedback from the motor via a separate feedback cable connected to a separate flanged socket on the motor housing. MAC motors can be used with Bosch controllers from the TDM, KDS and DSC product lines. MAC motors use permanent magnets and electronic commutation to deliver the high-performance required by industrial applications:

MAC093B-0-JS-3-C/110-A-2 is a 3000 RPM servo motor from the MAC093 series. Its housing is designed for convection cooling. Rated output is possible when the ambient temperature is between 0 and 45 degrees Celsius and the elevation is between 0 and 1000 meters. Output of the motor derates if either the temperature or the elevation are outside these limits. The output derates further if both temperature and elevation exceed these limits at the same time. Rated output torque of the MAC093B-0-JS-3-C/110-A-2 motor is 14.5 Nm and the rated output current is 27 Amps. An optional heavy-duty blocking brake is installed on the motor. Its holding torque is 14 Nm. The release delay is 70 milliseconds and the clamping delay is 30 milliseconds. MAC motors are available in IP65 rated housings that allow motor use in a wide range of environments.
