Product Description
Rexroth Indramat manufactures the MAC093B-0-ES-4-C/110-A-1/WI534LX AC servo motor. The incremental encoder, type 534LX, that powers the MAC093B-0-ES-4 motor delivers 1500 pulses per revolution of position feedback. Because it is not shock-damped and requires a 5V supply voltage, this encoder is appropriate for applications with lesser shock loads. A standard holding brake with a holding torque of 6.5 Nm is also included with the motor. In a variety of applications, this electrically operated brake serves to maintain the position of the motor shaft in the off-load state, guaranteeing stability and safety.
The motor is suited for harsh industrial applications because of its IP65 protection classification, which guarantees that it is protected against dust and water jets. Natural convection, which relies on the surrounding air to disperse heat, cools the motor. The 16.5 kilogram MAC093B-0-ES-4 motor is intended to run at a nominal speed of 3000 min^-1. It has a 4.0 mH winding inductance and can withstand brief bursts of 134 A peak pulse current. The thermal time constant of the motor, which measures how long it takes to heat up or cool down, is 50 minutes.
It also has a holding brake that can provide up to 6.5 Nm of torque in order to keep the shaft in place when it is not powered. When the motor is stationary, the MAC093B-0-ES-4 is intended to provide a constant torque of 14.5 Nm, which necessitates 27 A of current. With a moment of inertia of 29 x 10^-4 kgm^2, the rotor is very sensitive to variations in speed. The motor produces 0.554 Nm of torque for each ampere of current passing through its windings. These windings have a resistance of 0.227 Ohm at 20 °C, which affects the electrical properties and heat production of the motor. Our warranty is valid for a full year when you purchase this module.
