MAC093A-0-PS-3-C/110-B-1 is an advanced AC servo motor. It requires AC power input. A Bosch Rexroth motor controller connected to the motor supplies the AC power. MAC series motors are compatible with TDM, DSC, and KDS series controllers. In addition to supplying power, these controllers receive motor feedback and control motor speed and position. MAC motors are equipped with tacho generators. These motors support tacho feedback for real time speed and position evaluation. MAC motors are permanent magnet motors with electronic commutation. These brushless motors are maintenance-free and use life-time lubricated bearings. With IP65 rated housings, operators can install them inside the working area of machines. Integrated temperature sensors on the windings prevent overload damage. Multiple cooling methods are supported including convection cooling and surface cooling. Blocking brakes are available as an option.

MAC093A-0-PS-3-C/110-B-1 is a convection cooled servo motor. Bosch recommends 0 to 45 degrees Celsius ambient temperature. The permitted temperature for derated output is 45 to 55 degrees Celsius. Bosch recommends 0 to 1000 meters elevation. The permitted elevation for derated output is 1000 to 5000 meters. The MAC093A-0-PS-3-C/110-B-1 is equipped with a standard blocking brake with 6.5 Nm rated torque. This brake is a safety device, designed to prevent accidental motor movement.
