Product Description
MAC093A-0-LS-3-C/110-A-1 is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor from the MAC motor series. The motor uses permanent magnets for low inertia operation. Electronic commutation uses solid-state circuits for current switching. It is more reliable than mechanical commutation technology used in older motors and also does not require maintenance. MAC motor housings comply with IP65 requirements for robust ingress protection against solid and liquids. The cable connections on these motors are also IP65 compliant. MAC motors support tacho feedback for position and speed evaluation. These motors work in combination with controllers from the DSC, KDS, or TDM series controllers. Maintenance-free operation is possible because of the brushless motor design and use of life-time lubricated bearings. MAC093A-0-LS-3-C/110-A-1 is a MAC motor with 4000 RPM nominal speed rating. It supports convection cooling and requires 0 to 45 degrees Celsius ambient temperature.
Motor use outside this range leads to output derating. Bosch permits derated MAC motor operation at 45 to 55 degrees Celsius. The optimal site elevation is 0 to 1000 meters. Bosch permits derated operation at 1000 to 5000 meters. A standard blocking brake is installed on the MAC093A-0-LS-3-C/110-A-1 motor. Its holding torque is 6.5 Nm. The brake requires a 24 Volts DC electrical release signal to release the motor shaft. Current rating of the brake is 0.7 Amps. Release delay for the brake is 60 milliseconds and the clamping delay is 20 milliseconds. Weight of the standard blocking brake is 0.6 kilograms. Insulation class of the servo motor is F. MAC motors have separate power and feedback connection. Connectors for the respective cables must be ordered separately. The motor must be operated by trained and qualified personnel.
