MAC090C-1-KD-3-C/130-A-0/S011 is a high-performance servo motor. It is part of Bosch Rexroth’s MAC series. The motor has an IP65 rated housing. This housing protects internal components from dust. The housing also provides protection against low-pressure jets of water. Operators can deploy the IP65 rated motor in a wide range of environments without having to provide protection in the form of enclosures or cabinets. This reduces the cost of system installation as well as maintenance, which improves both reliability and profitability. MAC motors support tacho feedback for speed evaluation. The motors support an addition encoder (absolute or incremental) for position evaluation. Feedback from the motor is sent to a motor controller (servo controller) that is tasked with ensuring motor parameters match programmed values for motor speed and position.
An axial cooling fan is installed on the MAC090C-1-KD-3-C/130-A-0/S011 motor. The function of this cooling fan is to increase air flow across the motor body, which helps to improve heat dissipation. As a result, the motor is able to deliver high output torque and current. Input voltage rating of the fan is 230 Volts AC. Operators can order 115 Volts AC cooling fans for MAC motors as well as radial cooling fans that require 115 / 230 Volts AC input. MAC motors support an optional blocking brake. However the MAC090C-1-KD-3-C/130-A-0/S011 motor does not feature a blocking brake. Centering diameter of the motor is 110 millimeters. Its rated speed is 2000 RPM.
