Product Description
MAC090C-1-KD-2-C/130-A-2/S029 is a high-performance servo motor from Bosch Rexroth. Use of permanent magnets for motor construction gives the advantage of low-inertia. Motors with low-inertia have faster response times for acceleration and deceleration. Motors with low inertia also require less energy to overcome inertia and reach desired speed or output torque. In this way using low-inertia motors leads to higher energy efficiency for the installation. A blocking brake is installed on the MAC090C-1-KD-2-C/130-A-2/S029 motor. Operators can order a standard blocking brake with lower holding torque rating or a heavy duty brake with higher holding torque. The MAC090C-1-KD-2-C/130-A-2/S029 motor comes with a heavy duty blocking brake rated for 14 Nm holding torque. The brake requires a 24 Volts DC signal to release the motor shaft and allow it to rotate.
Release delay of the motor blocking brake is 70 milliseconds and its clamping delay is 30 milliseconds. The brake draws 0.7 Amps current and its moment of inertia is 0.00036 kg m2. Mass of the motor blocking brake is approximately 0.5 kilograms. Bosch has designed the motor for surface cooling and equipped with an axial cooling fan. This fan requires 230 Volts AC input. Weight of the fan is 3.3 kilograms. Protection rating for the blower is IP24 and protection rating for motor on the blower is IP44. The servo motor itself has IP65 protection rating and its weight is 23 kilograms. In addition to surface cooling, the motor supports tacho feedback and has a power plug on side A of the housing. Rated performance requires operation at 0 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature. Bosch Rexroth recommends motor installation and maintenance must be performed by trained personnel.
