Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is an automation giant dedicated to helping users achieve new heights of excellence in various applications. The MAC motors are a family of compact AC servo motors functioning as rapid-response drives with the TDM, KDS and DSC drive controllers.
The MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/130-A-0/WI519LV/S012 is one of the high-performance AC servo motors in the MAC series by Bosch Rexroth. It is a permanent magnet-excited type with electronic commutation. Its permanent magnets are composed of rare-earth materials that ensure low heat generation and contribute to the motor’s low inertia. This low inertia makes the motor responsive to changes in load and direction. It also gives the motor a favorable torque-inertia ratio, ensuring stability by minimizing vibrations and oscillations. The MAC AC servo motor is enclosed in a sealed housing designed to prevent the ingress of solid extrinsic materials and water jets sprayed at it from different directions. This housing is coated with a black prime varnish resistant to weathering, yellowing and chalky build-ups.
A high cyclic load capacity is the result of electronic commutation in the MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/130-A-0/WI519LV/S012. This makes it suitable for continuous start-stop operations with high repetitive frequencies. The motor is cooled via surface cooling with a mounted axial unit and has an impressive overload capability. Heat is efficiently dissipated from its windings to the outside walls of its housing to prevent overload damage. It also has integrated thermo switches in its windings for monitoring its temperature. Tacho feedback with a mounted incremental encoder is the motor feedback system in the MAC AC motor. It detects the rotor position and velocity and can be operated even under poor environmental conditions.
