Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s drive and motion control units form the backbone of efficiency and productivity for a wide range of industrial applications. Combining its MAC AC servo motors with the TDM, KDS and DSC drive controllers forms rapid-response drives.
The MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/110-B-2/WA610XX/S013 is a compact servo motor in the MAC series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Its highly efficient performance is owing to its low inertia resulting from the use of rare-earth materials in its rotor’s permanent magnets. This low inertia is also beneficial for a highly dynamic performance as it gives the motor a favorable torque-inertia ratio for such a performance. The rotor has a moment of inertia of 53 x 10-4 kgm2. Damage due to heat overload can be avoided in the MAC model with the thermo switches built into its stator windings. It also displays a high overload capacity due to efficient heat dissipation from its windings to the outside walls of its housing. Its cooling system involves surface cooling with the aid of a mounted axial unit.
A heavy-duty blocking brake with a holding torque of 14Nm is integrated into the MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/110-B-2/WA610XX/S013 to hold the servo axes backlash-free when the machine is powered off. It reduces the risk of accidents and damage to the equipment and downtime. Another feature of the MAC model that reduces downtime is its lifetime-lubricated bearings. These pre-lubricated bearings have a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours and contribute to the motor’s operational reliability. The MAC model is enclosed in an IP-65-rated housing per DIN 40 050, permitting its operation even under poor environmental conditions. Its housing is touch-proof and dustproof.
