MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/110-A-2/WA606XX/S013 is an industrial servo motor from Bosch Rexroth. It belongs to the MAC AC motor product line. Motors from this product line are optimized for industrial applications such as machine tools, textile machines, and transfer facilities. MAC motors support tacho feedback for speed evaluation and encoder feedback for position evaluation. For speed evaluation per tacho-generator and rotor position recognition, the motors are equipped with a tacho feedback especially developed for the series. The tacho generator is integrated into the motor. For position evaluation, the motors can be equipped with either an incremental encoder or an absolute encoder. The brushless design of MAC motors coupled with life-time lubricated bearings and an IP65 rated housing give these motors high reliability and make them maintenance free. MAC motor can be used directly within the working area of the machine even under poor environmental conditions such as affects of coolants and soluble oil emulsions.
Speed rating of the MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/110-A-2/WA606XX/S013 motor is 3000 RPM. The motor is equipped with an axial cooling fan and a blocking brake. The cooling fan is compatible with 230 Volts AC supply systems. The blocking brake operates according to the electrical-release principle: it prevents shaft rotation until a 24 Volts DC signal is applied, when it allows the shaft to rotate. The purpose of the blocking brake is to minimize the risk of accidental injury caused by unintentional shaft rotation. Holding torque rating of the brake is 14 Nm. Centering diameter of the motor is 110 millimeters. The main power plug is on side A of the housing. Bosch recommends professional installation for all its industrial products.
