The MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/110-A-1/WI515LX5/S005 is a unique and highly efficient servo motor built by Bosch Rexoth Indramat in an attempt to improve automation process and provide a long lasting and reliable source of kinetic energy in commercial and industrial applications. The synchronous motor is designed according to international standards, it has a compact housing design and can operate at an efficiency as high as 95 percent in environment conditions considered too harsh for traditional industrial machines. This servo motor is a permanent magnet excited device, during operation it maintains a low inertia that is characteristic of the MAC servo motor series. The motor features an axial air blower which helps in temperature regulation via surface cooling. A high resolution tacho feedback is present in the motor housing unit, this tacho feedback accurately monitors the speed, position and torque output of the servo motor, allowing the drive controller to maintain accurate control over the motor operation. An additional mounted encoder is also integrated into the motor for position monitoring.

The MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/110-A-1/WI515LX5/S005 servo motor has a output shaft that can support a high load, the output shaft is fitted with a shaft sealing ring which helps to prevent liquid from entering into the motor housing through the shaft. Connected to the output shaft is an electrically actuated released holding brake, this brake is a safety feature that retains the load connected to the motor shaft when the motor is at a standstill.

The MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/110-A-1/WI515LX5/S005 servo motor maintains a speed of 3000 revolutions per minute under normal conditions. However when the motor is at a standstill, it operates with a continuous current of 24.8 amperes, and can generate a torque of 9.6 newton meters.
