Product Description
MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/110-A-1/WA610XX is a Bosch Rexroth MAC series servo motor. It is equipped with two types of sensors: a tacho generator for speed evaluation and an encoder for position evaluation. Speed rating of the servo motor is 3000 RPM. Additional performance specifications include 16 Nm continuous torque at standstill, 41.3 Amps continuous current at standstill, 0.43 Nm/A torque constant at 20 degrees Celsius, 0.24 Ohms winding resistance at 20 degrees Celsius and 1.5 millihenry windings inductance. MAC motors support electronic commutation, which is an advanced method for controlling current flow through the motor windings. The maximum peak of pulse current that the motor can handle is 196 Amps. Thermal time constant with surface cooling is 45 minutes. Surface cooling requires use of a fan or blower to increase the air flow across the operating motor.
Bosch has provided the MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/110-A-1/WA610XX motor with an axial cooling fan. Input voltage requirement of the fan is 230 Volts AC. A standard blocking brake on the motor weighs 0.5 kilograms. Its specifications include voltage rating of 24 Volts, current rating of 0.7 Amps, 20 milliseconds release delay and 60 milliseconds clamping delay. The motor gets power from a drive controller. The cable carrying power for the motor connects to a dedicated power plug on the motor housing. Different options are available for the power plug location. On the MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/110-A-1/WA610XX motor, the plug is on side A of the housing. A manual supplied with the motor provides detailed instruction related to operation and installation. Bosch recommends routing encoder cables with shielding and separately of the load voltage lines and mains control lines. The encoder cable shield should be connected to the NC in the encoder connector.
