Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s ability to develop and implement cutting-edge technologies and solutions distinguishes it in the drive industry. It is the manufacturer of the efficient MAC AC servo motors with high overload capacity. They form rapid-response drives with the TDM, KDS and DSC drive controllers.
The MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/110-A-0/WI532LX is a MAC AC servo motor with a nominal speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute. It permits extreme loads like continuous start-stop operations with a high level of repetitive frequency. This is due to the use of an axial surface cooling unit for heat dissipation. Electronic commutation also allows such operations as it gives the high cyclic load capacity required to prevent failure due to fatigue. The MAC motor’s bearings remain lubricated throughout their service life, estimated at 30,000 operating hours. Using such bearings increases the operational reliability of the motor and reduces its maintenance requirements. Tacho feedback with a mounted incremental encoder detects the rotor position and velocity and is suitable for machines with lower shock loads.
Mounting the MAC090C-1-GD-4-C/110-A-0/WI532LX in any orientation is possible due to its compact design. Such a design also gives the motor a high power-to-weight ratio and ensures its space-conserving installation. A black prime coat protects the motor’s housing from weathering, yellowing and chalky build-ups. It is equipped with thermo switches integrated into its windings to monitor its temperature and prevent irreversible damage due to thermal overload. The rare-earth materials used in the permanent magnets of the MAC motor’s rotor give it a low inertia and a favorable torque-inertia ratio for a highly dynamic performance. It accommodates a maximum current of 196A and has a centering diameter of 110mm.
