The MAC090C-1-GD-2-C/130-B-2/S029 is a compact MAC motor model using lifetime-lubricated bearings with a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours. These pre-lubricated bearings reduce the need for maintenance and the associated downtime, thereby increasing the motor’s operational reliability. They also reduce the risk of contamination or spillage since additional lubrication is not needed. This MAC model is well-suited for continuous start-stop operations with high repetitive frequencies due to its high cyclic load capacity provided by electronic commutation. It also features an axial surface cooling unit that supports such operations. Thermo switches are built into its windings to monitor its temperature and prevent damage due to overheating.
Tacho feedback comprises the motor feedback system in the MAC090C-1-GD-2-C/130-B-2/S029 for the precise detection and evaluation of its rotor position and velocity. There is a heavy-duty blocking brake with a holding torque of 14Nm in the MAC motor to hold its servo axes backlash-free when the machine is powered off.
