MAC090C-0-KD-4-C/110-B-0 is a servo motor. It is made by Bosch Rexroth. MAC motor applications include handing equipment, transfer facilities, robotics and printing presses. MAC servo motors are permanent magnet-excited motors with electronic commutation. The permanent magnets used for these motors are made with materials that make possible the manufacture of motors with very low inertia. Low inertia offers multiple benefits, including faster acceleration and deceleration, reduced energy consumption, more precise control of speed and position, reduced mechanical stress on the system components, adaptability to changes in load, and a compact and lightweight design. MAC motors support tacho feedback. The MAC090C-0-KD-4-C/110-B-0 motor is equipped with an additional encoder for position evaluation. The brushless motor design and use of life-time lubricated bearings enables maintenance-free operation. With an IP65 rated housing and cable connections, the motors can be used within the working area of the machine.

Temperature monitoring via integrated thermo switches prevents overload damage. Bosch has supplied the MAC090C-0-KD-4-C/110-B-0 motor with a plain shaft. Diameter of the motor shaft is 24 millimeters. Approximately 50 millimeters of the shaft are outside the main housing. Length of the motor housing is 407 millimeters. The centering diameter is 110 millimeters. MAC motors receive power via a dedicated power cable. There are separate connections on the motor for power and feedback. The power connection location is selectable and must be specified at the time of ordering. Speed rating of the motor is 2000 RPM, and the output torque and current ratings are 10.4 Nm and 17 Amps respectively. These ratings are valid for convection cooling. Surface cooling is an option for MAC motors and enables higher output current and torque.
