Product Description

The Bosch Rexroth MAC090C-0-KD-4-C/110-A-0/WI520LV is a reliable AC servomotor in the MAC series. The motor has a tacho feedback option and a standardly mounted incremental encoder. The tacho feedback is always integrated into the motor’s rotor. The mounted incremental encoder is highly resistant to environmental conditions. The encoder works with either sinusoidal signals or square-wave pulses. The device has a 12-pin flanged socket for the encoder and feedback connections. The power cable, the tacho feedback cable, and the encoder cable are connected directly to the servomotor using connectors on their flanged sockets.

The MAC motor is a permanent magnet-excited motor that supports electronic commutation. Its output is high. The device sports high dynamic performance because of its favorable torque-inertia ratio. The unit is protected by its housing and cover. The construction and design of the cover and housing adhere to the guidelines defined in DIN 40 050. The black prime coat of the housing is resistant to yellowing and weathering. However, the coat tends to peel if the housing is cleaned frequently with a steam cleaner.

In the MAC motor, the output shaft is equipped with a shaft sealing. The pilot diameter of the device is 110 mm. The unit is not equipped with a holding brake. The power connection of the product is directed towards Side A. The device should be grounded properly to the drive amplifier used. The motor must be mounted to the machine only by personnel who are fully trained. The connector has spigot nuts, which should be tightly screwed when connecting. Natural convection is the method used to cool the motor. When wiring the product, the terminal diagrams provided by the machine manufacturer should be strictly followed.
