Product Description
When the MAC servo motors are combined with the TDM, KDS and DSC drive controllers, rapid-response servo drives are obtained. Some applications for which the servo motors are well-suited are packaging machinery, machine tools, and robotics.
The MAC090C-0-GD-4-C/110-B-1/WI534LX/S014 is one of the brushless MAC servo motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has low inertia because of the use of rare-earth materials in the permanent magnets of its rotor. This rotor has a moment of inertia of 53 x 10-4 kgm2. The servo motor also guarantees a highly dynamic performance, thanks to its favorable torque-inertia ratio. Its use of ready-made cables eliminates additional installation work. It can be mounted in any orientation and has a compact build with a high power-to-weight ratio. Its power and feedback cables meet the demands of the IP 65 protection category. The motor’s housing is also IP-65-rated according to DIN 40 050, permitting its safe use directly within the working area of the machine.
Tacho feedback with a mounted incremental encoder is used for detecting the position and velocity of the rotor of the MAC090C-0-GD-4-C/110-B-1/WI534LX/S014. It is designed to reach a nominal speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute and accommodates a maximum current of 196A. For heat dissipation, it uses natural convection, ensuring its energy-efficient operation. It also has a high overload capacity due to efficient heat elimination from its stator windings. Its thermo switches protect it from irreversible damage due to thermal overload by monitoring its temperature. Pinions and belt pulleys can be directly mounted onto its shaft because the design of the bearing assembly allows the application of high radial loads.
