Product Description
MAC motors are permanent-magnet excited servo motors created by Bosch Rexroth. They are used in a wide range of applications, including textile machines, printing presses, packaging machinery, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The MAC090C-0-GD-4-C/110-B-1/WI532LX/S001 is a compact AC servo motor in the MAC series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Its nominal speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute, while its centering diameter is 110mm. For heat dissipation, it uses natural convection, a cost-effective and energy-efficient cooling mechanism. Its thermo switches monitor its temperature to prevent permanent damage caused by thermal overload. To enhance its operational reliability, it has a high overload capacity thanks to efficient heat dissipation. Operating this MAC motor risk-free directly within the working area of the machine is made possible by its sealed housing. It does not admit solid external materials or multidirectional water jets, indicating that its Ingress Protection rating, according to DIN 40 050 is IP 65.
Position and velocity detection of the rotor of the MAC090C-0-GD-4-C/110-B-1/WI532LX/S001 is achieved via tacho feedback with a mounted incremental encoder. The servo motor’s standard blocking brake has a holding torque of 6.5 Nm. It works with the closed-circuit principle to hold the servo axes backlash-free when the machine is powered off. Its housing is painted with a black prime varnish with high resistance to weathering, yellowing, and chalky buildup. This varnish is also resistant to damage by dilute acids and lyes. Like other MAC motors, this model has electronic commutation. As a result, it is suitable for continuous start-stop operations with high repetitive rates. It should be installed at a maximum height of 1,000m.
