The MAC090C-0-GD-4-C/110-B-1/WI524LV/S014 is one of the permanent magnet-excited servo motors of the MAC series by Bosch Rexroth. Its rotor’s permanent magnets are built from rare-earth materials that give it a low inertia and favorable torque-inertia ratio for a highly dynamic performance. This rotor’s moment of inertia is 53 x 10-4 kgm2. The MAC motor’s nominal speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute. It uses tacho feedback with a mounted incremental encoder for the detection of its rotor’s position and velocity. The encoder is mounted per standard mounting and permits operation even in poor environmental conditions. Enclosed in a housing with an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 according to DIN 40 050, the MAC servo motor can also be used directly within the working area of the machine.

As a result, it is well-suited for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates.
