Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is the right brand for finding automation solutions suited to your needs. The MAC servo motors by the manufacturer are rapid-response servo drives in conjunction with TDM, KDS and DSC drive controllers.
The MAC090C-0-GD-4-C/110-B-1/WI524LV/S014 is one of the permanent magnet-excited servo motors of the MAC series by Bosch Rexroth. Its rotor’s permanent magnets are built from rare-earth materials that give it a low inertia and favorable torque-inertia ratio for a highly dynamic performance. This rotor’s moment of inertia is 53 x 10-4 kgm2. The MAC motor’s nominal speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute. It uses tacho feedback with a mounted incremental encoder for the detection of its rotor’s position and velocity. The encoder is mounted per standard mounting and permits operation even in poor environmental conditions. Enclosed in a housing with an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 according to DIN 40 050, the MAC servo motor can also be used directly within the working area of the machine.
Electronic commutation in the MAC090C-0-GD-4-C/110-B-1/WI524LV/S014 is responsible for its high cyclic load capacity. This means the motor does not fail due to fatigue after repeated stress cycles. As a result, it is well-suited for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. With its brushless design, there are fewer parts at the risk of wear and tear, prolonging the motor’s service life. To reduce its maintenance requirements, it is equipped with bearings that remain lubricated throughout their service life. It is cooled by natural convection and has temperature-monitoring thermo switches built into its windings and stator housing. Its compact build allows it to be mounted in any orientation.
