The MAC090C-0-GD-4-C/110-B-1/WA608XX/S005 is a compact AC servo motor in the MAC series by Bosch Rexroth. Its brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings improve its operational reliability and prolong its service life by permitting its maintenance-free operation. These bearings have a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours. The MAC motor uses tacho feedback with a mounted encoder that is designed to withstand environmental conditions as it detects and evaluates both rotor position and velocity. Its sealed housing does not admit solid external materials or water jets sprayed at it from different directions. It uses natural convection for heat dissipation and displays a high overload capacity thanks to efficient heat transfer from its windings to the external walls of its housing. Electronic commutation gives this MAC model a high cyclic load capacity, meaning it can handle repeated stress cycles without failing due to fatigue. As a result, it permits continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. The motor reaches a nominal speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute and has a centering diameter of 110mm. Its rotor’s permanent magnets are composed of rare-earth materials, and it has a moment of inertia of 53 x 10-4 kgm2.
