Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s excellently designed MAC servo motors with electronic commutation are high-performance motors with tacho feedback. They are combined with the KDS, TDM, and DSC drive controllers to obtain rapid-response servo drives. Their applications include packaging machinery, machine tools, robotics, handling equipment, printing machines, and transfer facilities.
The MAC090C-0-GD-4-C/110-B-1/WA604XX is a model of Bosch Rexroth’s brushless servo motors with tacho feedback. Its lack of brushes results in a motor with lower risks of damage due to wear and tear and friction. It is equipped with lifetime-lubricated bearings that reduce maintenance requirements and costs. They also extend its service life due to consistent lubrication in the required amounts for high-efficiency output. The low inertia of the MAC motor is a direct result of the use of rare-earth materials in the permanent magnets of its rotor. Its rotor moment of inertia is 53 x 10-4 kgm2. This servo motor’s feedback type is tacho feedback with a mounted encoder designed to withstand poor environmental conditions. It detects and evaluates both rotor position and velocity.
Sealed in a housing that corresponds with the demands of IP 65 per DIN 40 050, the MAC090C-0-GD-4-C/110-B-1/WA604XX can be used directly within the working area of the machine even under poor environmental conditions such as the effects of coolants, soluble oil emulsions. This housing is touch-proof, dustproof, and resistant to water jets and coated with a black prime varnish for protection against yellowing and weathering. Thermo switches are integrated into the windings and stator housing of the MAC model to monitor its temperature and prevent irreversible damage due to overheating. It reaches a nominal speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute.
