Product Description
Rapid-response servo drives are obtained by combining the high-performance servo motors of the MAC series with TDM, KDS and DSC drive controllers. These motors come in various speeds and sizes and can be tailored to application-specific purposes.
The MAC090C-0-GD-4-C/110-A-2/WA605XX/S013 is one of Bosch Rexroth’s permanent magnet-excited MAC motors. It has a high cyclic load capacity, which supports its use in continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. This is due to electronic commutation, a feature that ensures that the motor can handle repeated stress cycles without failure due to fatigue. It also has a high overload capacity, meaning high loads will not cause overheating or excessive wear and tear as heat is efficiently dissipated from its stator windings to the outside walls of its housing. In addition, the motor has thermo switches built into its windings and stator housing to monitor its temperature and prevent damage due to thermal overload. It is cooled by natural convection, where heat exchange occurs over a temperature and density gradient.
Bosch Rexroth designed the stator and tacho feedback of the MAC090C-0-GD-4-C/110-A-2/WA605XX/S013 to ensure excellent smooth running qualities. Its encoder system comprises tacho feedback with a mounted encoder. It also has bearings with a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours, which remain lubricated throughout. They work with the motor’s brushless design to improve its operational reliability and maintenance-free operation. Like other MAC models, the housing of this motor is sealed, preventing solid extrinsic materials and multidirectional water jets from penetrating the motor. It is covered with a black prime varnish that protects it from yellowing, chalky buildup, weathering, dilute acids, and lyes.
