Product Description
Bosch Rexroth's MAC motors are built to ensure efficiency and sustainability. The AC servo motors are rapid-response servo drives in conjunction with the TDM, KDS and DSC drive controllers.
The MAC090C-0-GD-4-C/110-A-1/WI534LX is a Bosch Rexroth MAC motor featuring electronic commutation. This allows its safe use in continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates without the risk of failure caused by fatigue. Electronic commutation gives the motor a high cyclic load capacity, which is important for such operations. It comes in a compact package with a high power-to-weight ratio. The motor is rated IP 65 according to DIN 40 050 and has a sealed housing that protects it from dust ingress and multidirectional water jet sprays. Its housing is also resistant to yellowing, chalky buildup, weathering, lyes, and dilute acids owing to the black prime varnish used as its coating. These enhance its operational reliability and ensure its risk-free use under poor environmental conditions.
Tachofeedback with a mounted incremental encoder determines the velocity feedback value and rotor position of the MAC090C-0-GD-4-C/110-A-1/WI534LX. The servo motor’s nominal speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute, and its centering diameter is 110m. Its stator is equipped with thermo switches to monitor its temperature and keep it from permanent damage due to thermal overload. These switches detect temperature changes in the motor and trigger a protective response when the temperature exceeds a certain threshold. Thanks to the brushless design of the MAC motor model, fewer parts are exposed to wear and tear, and the motor’s service life is extended. It also uses bearings that remain throughout their service life and permit the application of high radial loads.
