Product Description
The MAC090B-0-PD-4-C-110-B-1-WI517LV is manufactured by Bosch Indramat Rexroth. It is part of the MAC Series of AC servo motors. These motors have been designed to operate in a stationary way under weatherproofed conditions according to EN 60721-3-3 or IEC 721-3-3 conditions. This is based on class 3M1 respective the longitudinal axis and class 3M6 respective the lateral axis. The AC Servo motors are perfectly suited for applications with extreme demands. Some of these applications include press feeds, pressing, punching if mounted shock decoupled or shock-damped mounted.
For shock-damped mounting, Rexroth Bosch Indramat does not recommend a generally applicable solution. It depends on the machine’s respective construction and metrological test results. The MAC Series have an available shock-damped variant for incremental encoders. This has gone through many testing for pressing feed, pressing, and punching applications. The MAC090B-0-PD-4-C-110-B-1-WI517LV is integrated with housing that has a black prime coat. This prime coat can be covered by an extra layer. Nonetheless, the layer’s thickness may not surpass 40 mm.
The prime coat in the housing is resistant to diluted lyes and acids, as well as yellowing, weathering and chalky build-ups. However, the coat can peel if you clean the housing regularly with a steam cleaner. Rexroth Bosch Indramat has designed the mounting flange in every type of motor to make possible for mounting based on design B5 (i.e., mounting flange with through holes). It is also possible for mounting mode based on design B14 (i.e., mounting flange with windings) in the MAC090, MAC093, MAC112, and MAC115 models. In case the motor is mounted in IM V3 and IM V19 orientations, you must prevent the collection of liquids at the output shaft over prolonged periods of time.
