The MAC090B-0-PD-4-C/110-A-0/WA606XX is a Bosch Rexroth rapid response AC servo drive suited for use in handling equipment, packaging equipment, printing presses and other high-precision applications. AC servo drives in the MAC series have very low inertia and deliver excellent maintenance-free operation with high output data. This model is a size 90 motor with a frame length of B. It is equipped with natural convection cooling for extreme loads. The design of the motor ensures resistance to chalk build up and weathering. The housing of the motor also protects the unit against contact with motor parts, penetration by objects and water leakage per IP 65 protection requirements.
The MAC090B-0-PD-4-C/110-A-0/WA606XX comes equipped with a standard tacho type. The tacho voltage is set to the nominal motor speed. The unit is equipped with tacho feedback for evaluation of speed and rotor position. It comes with an incremental encoder with standard mounting suited for use with machines with lower shock loads. To facilitate power connection, the motor has connectors on Side A where the power and encoder cables can be attached. The motor power and tachofeedback cables as well as the encoder cables are designed to meet IP 65 demands. This means the motor can be safely used within the working area of the machine even if there are contaminants such as emulsions and soluble oils.
This motor has a mass of 18 kg and is rated for a nominal motor speed of 2000 min-1. It has a windings inductance of 5.1 mH and a maximum peak of pulse current of 86 A. Thermo switches integrated into the motor windings help to prevent overload damage by monitoring temperature. For optimal performance, the recommended ambient temperature for use is 0 to 45 ?C.
