MAC090B-0-PD-3-C/110-B-1/S005 is a servo motor. It is designed by Bosch Rexroth and is part of the MAC product line. MAC motors support several features optimized for industrial use. The main motor shaft is equipped with a seal for added environmental protection. The motor is also equipped with a standard 6.5 Nm holding brake. The holding brake clamps the output shaft at standstill to achieves safe standstill even when the power is off. This brake operates according to the principle of electrically-actuated release. The brake operates on application of a 24 Volts DC signal and draws 0.7 Amps current. Its clamping delay is 20 milliseconds and the release delay is 60 milliseconds. Weight of the holding brakes is 0.5 kilograms. A heavy duty brake rated for 14 Nm holding torque is also available for MAC090 motors. Bosch has designed the MAC motor for convection cooling. The permitted ambient temperature for operation is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. Rated output requires site elevations between 0 and 1000 meters. The power and feedback cables connect directly to the motor via corresponding flanged sockets. These connections comply with IP65 requirement. Connectors for power and feedback cables must ordered separately. The motor has a rating plate attached to the side of the housing. For storage, a dust and shock-free environment must be used. The permissible temperature range for storage is from -25 to 85 degrees Celsius.
