Product Description
Bosch Rexroth has manufactured many efficient AC motors, including MAC090B-0-PD-2-X/110-A-1 which, when paired with TDM, KDS, and DSC drive controllers, functions as a rapid-response servo drive. It is best suited for industrial automation tasks. It features a tachofeedback and also comes with a mounted encoder for position evaluation. The IP65 protection category of this motor allows it to operate under poor environmental conditions, such as exposure to coolants and soluble oil emulsions.
This servo motor generates less heat at its nominal speed of 2000 RPM, which minimizes the risk of overheating and the need for extensive cooling systems. The maximum torque it can continuously exert while not rotating is 7.2 Nm. The continuous current at standstill of 11.9 A lets it exert a consistent force that can keep an object in place for extended durations. Its low rotor moment of inertia of 0.0036 kilogram-square meter helps it quickly accelerate or decelerate, making it a dynamic performer. The torque constant at 20 degrees Celsius of 0.67 Nm/A also roots for its high efficiency and performance. Electrical loss when operating this motor will not exceed 0.97 Ohm, as per the given windings resistance at 20 degrees Celsius. The windings inductance of it is 5.1 mH. With no holding brake, no blower, and a tachogenerator, its mass is 18 kilograms.
It comes featured with surface cooling to handle extreme loads. The power, tachofeedback, and encoder cables are connected directly to this motor through connectors on the respective flanged sockets. The ambient temperature range to run this motor is 0 to +45 degrees Celsius, and any surface between 0 to 1000 meters above sea level can have it installed. Its mounting flange is designed to allow B5 mounting with through-holes.
