Product Description
The MAC090B-0-JD-4-C/110-B-1/WI531LX is a MAC servo motor that is widely used in industry due to its permanent magnet-excitation motors with electronic commutation and maintenance-free characteristics. The heating up and cooling down follow an exponential behavior. This variant has standard holding brakes, that allow the user to clamp (hold into place) the output shaft at a standstill. This achieves a safe standstill of the axis even when power is off. In the case of a standard holding brake, the clamping time is 20 ms, and the release delay is 60 ms.
The MAC090B-0-JD-4-C/110-B-1/WI531LX has a total weight of 18.5 kg and a length is 392 mm. The permissible storage and transport temperature ranges from -20 C to 80 C but for nominal operations the admissible temperature range is from 0 C to 45 C. If the motor is stored for a period exceeding two years, then it is necessary to grind it in before using it. The maximum peak current is 137 amperes and the rotor moment of inertia without holding brake is 36 x 10-4 kgm2. The moment of inertia of the holding brake is 1.06 x 10-4 kgm2 which makes the total moment of inertia 37.06 x 10-4 kgm2.
The housing coat is a Black prime coat (RAL 9005), and the insulation class is F with international protection 65. IP 65 refers to complete protection from dust and extinct objects as well as protection from water. The winding type is JD, and the tacho type is standard. Motor temperature is monitored with thermo switches to avoid overload issues. The thermal time constant of the motor is the time taken by a motor to reach nearly 63% of its steady-state temperature.?For this AC servo motor, the thermal time constant is 60 minutes.
