Designed to operate at an ambient temperature between 32 and 113 degrees Fahrenheit (about 0 to 45 degrees Celsius), the MAC090A-0-ZD-4-C/110-B-0/WA611XX/S001 is the perfect industrial motor for high-output applications. In addition to its wide ambient temperature operating range, this motor model withstands a transportation and storage temperature between -4 degrees and 170 degrees Fahrenheit (about -20 to 80 degrees Celsius). Rexroth Bosch’s MAC090A-0-ZD-4-C/110-B-0/WA611XX/S001 reaches its steady-state temperature after about 45 minutes and cools via natural convection. Unlike surface-cooled motors, motors that use natural convection are lighter and smaller but are more susceptible to overheating. Because of its housing material, however, the MAC090A-0-ZD-4-C/110-B-0/WA611XX/S001 conducts heat efficiently, preventing it from overheating. 

The MAC090A-0-ZD-4-C/110-B-0/WA611XX/S001 may be mounted using two methods. The first option is to couple it directly to the machine via flange mounting. Flange mounting is ideal for applications in which maximum torque transfer is desired while minimizing installation space. On the other hand, the MAC090A-0-ZD-4-C/110-B-0/WA611XX/S001 also allows foot mounting, which requires a bracket to fix the motor in a stable location. The nominal speed of this motor model is 2000 rpm, and deviations from the nominal speed, or any other desired speed, can be adjusted through its built-in standard Tacho feedback. Tacho feedback works by assigning voltage values proportional to the motor speed. Using this method, a control system detects whenever the assigned Tacho voltage exceeds or lacks the nominal voltage value representing the desired motor speed. 

The output shaft of the MAC090A-0-ZD-4-C/110-B-0/WA611XX/S001 has a keyway that allows the load to be driven at higher torque capacities while preventing other components from slipping. The motor has a centering diameter of 110 mm and a power connector attached on side B. Finally, the MAC090A-0-ZD-4-C/110-B-0/WA611XX/S001 has no blocking brake.
