Product Description
MAC090A-0-ZD-4-C/110-A-1/WI524LV/S001 is a Bosch Rexroth motor from the MAC series. MAC motors are servo motors with integrated tacho generator for tacho feedback. MAC motors are compatible with multiple drive controllers such as TDM, KDS and DSC controllers. MAC motors are ideal for a wide range of industrial applications such as textiles, robotics, packaging machinery, and printing presses. MAC motors are made with high-grade permanent magnets. They have a brushless design and support electronic commutation. Several factors including brushless design, IP65 housing, and life-time lubricated bearings, contribute to maintenance free operation. With a robust housing, MAC motors can be installed directly in the working area of the machine. The product documentation lists relevant safety precautions. These precautions are necessary for preventing equipment damage and personal injury. Technical personnel working on MAC motors must read, understand and implement these safety precautions. The MAC product line includes six motor series with 1500 to 5000 RPM speed ratings. The MAC090A-0-ZD-4-C/110-A-1/WI524LV/S001 is a MAC090 series motor with 2000 RPM nominal speed. Its continuous toque output at standstill is 3.7 Nm. The continuous current output at standstill is 8.1 Amps. Bosch has designed the motor for cooling via natural convection. Rated output requires site elevations between 0 and 1000 meters and temperature between 0 and 45 degrees Celsius. The storage temperature for unused MAC motors is -20 to 80 degrees Celsius. Other features available on the MAC090A-0-ZD-4-C/110-A-1/WI524LV/S001 motor include standard tacho generator, encoder for position feedback, power connector on side A and an optional holding brake. The brake is a standard holding brake with 6.5 Nm holding torque, 24 Volts voltage rating and 0.7 Amps current draw. Release delay for the brake is 60 milliseconds and the clamping delay is 20 milliseconds.
