Product Description
The MAC series motor MAC090A-0-ZD-3-0/110-A-1 has a power connector on the A side of its housing and must be used between 0 and +45 degrees Celsius. The AC servo motor weighs 12.5 kilograms and is covered in primer-coated black housing for corrosion protection. However, the coat cannot exceed 40 millimeters in thickness.
This MAC series AC servo motor is equipped with tacho feedback (and a second shaft end) and is suited for stationary operation under weatherproof circumstances. There are thermal switches integrated within the motor's windings and stator housing. The dust and water protection level of the servo motor is IP65, and the insulation class is F. The model has a thermal time constant of 45 minutes and uses natural convection to transfer heat outside. The servo motor can generate a continuous torque of 3.7 Nm during natural convection at a standstill operation and consumes 8.1 A of continuous current. The motor can be mounted in any orientation. Mounting the motor to the machine is simple. Pinions and belt pulleys can be directly mounted onto the shaft because the design of the bearing assembly makes the application of high radial loads possible. The MAC090A servo motor must be installed according to the manufacturer specified instructions in order to avoid any damage.
The model MAC090A-0-ZD-3-0/110-A-1 has a winding inductance of 1.9 mH and is a member of the MAC Series of AC servo motors made by Bosch Indramat Rexroth. The motor consumes a peak pulse current of 53 A and can rotate at a maximum speed of 2000 revolutions per minute. For best performance, the model must be installed and operated by a skilled technician. The Indramat model comes with a holding brake having a holding torque of 6.5 Nm.
