The MAC071C-1-NS-3-C/095-B-0 is a rapid-response AC servo motor by Bosch Rexroth. This permanent magnet-excited motor type has very low inertia and is ideal for use in machine tools, semiconductor devices, aircrafts and other high accuracy applications. This motor is part of the MAC series for analogue drives and is characterized by a motor length of C and motor size of 71. It has natural convection cooling for extreme loads. The thermo switches integrated into the motor windings and stator housing monitor the temperature of the motor to ensure there is no overload damage.

The MAC071C-1-NS-3-C/095-B-0 has a 3000 min -1 rating with a tacho voltage of 1.5V/1000 min-1. It has standard tacho type feedback. The motor?s feedback enables the evaluation of position and speed and for the detection of rotor position. This unit comes with Tachofeedback with second shaft end that allows the user to mount their encoder. The second shaft end is designed to meet IP 65 demands so the component mounted does not need to be sealed completely. IP 65 category motors can be used in locations where contaminants like coolants and oils are present since the motor housing is totally enclosed to prevent leakages.

The motor has side B connectors to facilitate the connection of power, tachofeedback and encoder cables to the unit. The mounting flange has a centering diameter of 095. The design of the output shaft can be selected by the user to suit their application requirements. It is recommended to have plain output shafts to enable transmission of the torque free from backlash. The output shaft of the motor comes with shaft sealing to ensure that dirt and liquid contaminants do not penetrate the motor housing.
