Product Description
MAC AC servo motors are known for their superior reliability and efficiency. Pioneered by the Rexroth group of companies, this series of motors is relatively simple to install on any machine for different applications. Unlike other motors from competitors, the MAC servo motors are engineered to withstand high radial loads, and thus, belt pulleys and pinions may be directly attached to the rotor shaft without issues of shearing and deformation. Another advantage of this series of motors is that they can be mounted in any orientation, and several cables are already available upon purchase, removing the need for complicated installation work.
The MAC071C-0-US-4-C/095-B-0/WI534LX/S001 is a product of Rexroth under the MAC071C family of motors, implementing US winding, natural cooling, and standardly mounted Tacho feedback with an incremental encoder. Like the MAC063 family of motors, the centering diameter of the MAC071C-0-US-4-C/095-B-0/WI534LX/S001 is 95 mm, with a total length of 0.292 m. Like other products from the MAC071C family, this motor can reach a nominal speed of 2000 rpm, a continuous standstill torque of 6.6 Nm, and a thermal constant of 45 minutes. From the datasheet, the reactance of the windings may be derived using the given inductance of the windings, 15 mH, at a particular frequency and temperature.
In terms of its exterior, the MAC071C-0-US-4-C/095-B-0/WI534LX/S001 features a housing covered in RAL 9005 prime coat to prevent deterioration of the housing material. The prime coat provides resistance to diluted acids, yellowing, chalking, and weathering of the exterior. For B-0 motors, the power connector is located on side B, and no blocking brake is mounted. Finally, S001 MAC AC servo motors feature a keyway in their output shaft as per the specifications included in DIN 6885.
