It comes with a WA612XX encoder that in addition to its inbuilt tachofeedback device gives reliable readings for motor speed and rotor position during operation. The motor is a robust and reliable device that despite its small size finds use in the robotics, textile, and transfer facilities industry. This permanent magnet-excited motor is quite unique in that the material of the permanent magnet can be altered for a reduced power to weight ratio and a high dynamic performance due to its unique torque-inertia ratio.
