Product Description
The low inertia and high-speed MAC071C-0-NS-4-C/095-A-0/WA604XX motor is a high-quality product of the Rexroth Indramat group. When compared to conventional motor types, these motors offer higher energy savings, variable speed, and quieter operation, which makes them valued for their capacity to support more economical and environmentally friendly technological and engineering solutions. This motor is a combination of some basic components and innovative approaches. The motor works on the principle of electronic commutation, in which input voltages are controlled electronically.
Due to its brushless design and integrated control device, the MAC motor is long-lasting, efficient, and offers superior control. The MAC071 EC motor is user-friendly since it features a magnetized rotor, which only needs the generation of the magnetic field of the stator to run. The cooling method employed in the motor is simple (natural convection). The feedback system of the motor is advanced and features a tachometer and a mounted encoder (incremental or absolute). The connection for the transfer of electrical energy to the feedback system is IP65-protected and contains a 12-pin flange socket according to the tested specifications.
Depending on the integrated machine's load, there are two possible mounting configurations for the encoder: standard mounting and shock-dampened mounting. The motor has a centering diameter but no holding brake. The output shafts of the MAC 071 are always fitted with shaft sealings for IP65 standard protection. To minimize vibration and unnecessary noise during operation, motors must be positioned correctly on machines by tightening screws and nuts. Although the feedback system is advanced, its natural cooling mechanism prevents it from being employed with heavy-duty machinery.
