Product Description
High-precision and brushless permanent magnet servo motors, like the MAC071C-0-NS-3-C/095-A-1/S018 by MAC series, are products of Rexroth Indramat. These low-inertia motors are mostly used in high-precision applications like tools for metal and woodworking machines in the automotive and production industries. The housing of the AC motor covered with a black prime coat follows DIN 40 050 requirements, protecting against contact with moving parts or contact guards and penetration of water or extrinsic objects.
The maximum duration of shocks on the longitudinal and lateral axes is 20 ms and 6 ms, respectively. The MAC071 AC motor can only be integrated with analogue drives that transmit data in the form of waves. Instead of forced surface cooling, which requires frequent cleaning and maintenance of the axial or radial fans, it uses affordable and maintenance-free natural convection cooling. The NS-type winding of the brushless motor is integrated with the tachometer for feedback and a second shaft end (IP65 protected) for standard and nominal run speed (3000 rpm). The value of tacho voltage is determined by the motor's desired overall nominal speed.
This MAC 071 motor is equipped with a blocking brake, a pilot diameter, and a power connection to provide the motor's internal parts with electrical energy. The motor's adjustable reference point is limited to motors that employ the natural cooling process. It is recommended to change the dimension by professionals only, as a slight change in reference point results in a variation in dimension. The maximum allowed duty cycle of the 071 magnetic motor is 15 minutes.
