Product Description
MAC071B-0-PS-4-C/095-A-0/WA612XX/S001 is a permanent magnet-excited and brushless motor that uses the process of electronic commutation to turn windings on and off. These are AC servo motors that are part of the MAC series that Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures for use in packaging, textile, robotics, and other industries. The motor has been supplied with a brushless design and comes fitted with bearings that have been lubricated for lifetime operation. Hence, the motor is practically free of requiring maintenance while it remains in use in any industrial setting.
The motor is built for top-quality performance and boasts a nominal motor speed of 4000 min-1. The mass of the machine, excluding the blower and holding brake, is 8.8 kilograms, which does include the weight of the tachogenerator. The windings inductance of the motor is calculated to be 5.9 mH while its winding resistance at twenty degrees Celsius is measured to be 0.72 Ohms. The superior performance of the motor can also be gauged from its impeccable 9.9x10-4 kgm2 rotor moment of inertia, while its torque constant at twenty Celsius happens to be 0.460 Nm/A.
The motor does not come with a blocking brake, and neither does it have a surface cooling option. The motor uses natural convection as its method of cooling. Interestingly, the part has been supplied with a standard tacho type marked by the letter ‘C’ in the part name. Moreover, the motor feedback is with tachofeedback and an encoder that either be a mounted incremental or absolute. For power connection, the part has a connector to side A, and the size of the motor is denoted by the number ‘071’. The centering diameter of the motor is mentioned in the part name by the number ‘095’.
