Product Description
The MAC071B-0-FS-4-C/095-A-2/WI581BX/S001 motor is from the MAC series motors of Bosch Rexroth. This is a highly innovative low inertia permanent magnet brushless AC servo motor that is used for industrial automation applications. This motor has a robust design, high ingress protection (IP65), solid black prime-coated housing, and a sealed shaft. This motor is completely free from maintenance because of its brushless design, lifelong lubricated bearings, and continuous temperature monitoring using thermos switches that protect it from overload damage.
This motor has an exceptionally good power-to-weight ratio with a weight of only 8.8 Kg. The ideal operating condition for this motor is from 0 to 40 C, and in normal conditions motor provides impressive nominal speed (N) of 2000 min-1, continuous torque (at standstill) of 4.4 Nm, and continuous current (at standstill) of 5.0 A. The current consumption of the motor at peak pulse (Ipeak) is 25.0 A, and the Torque constant at 20 C is 2.7 Nm/A. This motor does not have any surface cooling option (fan or blower), and the thermal time constant (Tth) of the motor is 45 min.
This motor is also equipped with a sophisticated heavy-duty (6 Nm) holding brake that is electrically actuated and has a nominal operating voltage of DC 24 ± 10%. The holding brake has an ideal weight of 0.3 kg and 1.06 x 10-4 moments of inertia. This motor also has an integrated feedback mechanism for position and speed evaluation using a standard tacho generator and mounted incremental or absolute encoder. This power connector of the motor is facing toward the shaft and the motor requires 12 AWG wire for proper operation.
