Product Description
The MAC071B-0-FS-4-C/095-A-0/WA612XX is a 2000 rpm AC servo motor from Rexroth with a continuous torque at a standstill of 4.4 Nm allowing the motor to remain stationary or provide precision when being used in applications that require precise movements such as packaging and manufacturing. To ensure robust operation under heavy loads the MAC071B-0-FS-4-C/095-A-0/WA612XX has a nominal continuous standstill current rating of 5 Amperes and a maximum peak pulse current of 25 Amperes without sustaining damage for a shorter period of time.
To ensure stable and reliable performance for a longer period of time, the Rexroth MAC071B-0-FS-4-C/095-A-0/WA612XX AC motor features a winding inductance of 22 mH and a Thermal time constant of 45 minutes, meaning the motor will change its temperature 45 minutes after depending on the change in load. This motor relies on the natural convection method which is not the most efficient way to cool it as it requires the motor to be installed in a room that has plenty of airflow. For energy optimization, the motor features a torque constant of 0.880 Nm/A and windings resistance of 2.7 Ohm at 20 degrees Celsius
The motor features a compact design with dimensions of 435 mm x 118 mm and weighs approximately 8.8 Kg making it the second most compact design in the MAC AC Servo motor series. This motor can also be installed in a harsh industrial environment thanks to its robust IP 65 enclosure that protects it from all kinds of dust particles and moisture. However, it is recommended to install the motor in an environment with a maximum temperature of 45 degrees Celsius to avoid affecting its performance by overheating.
