The MAC071A-0-HS-4-C/095-B-0/WI534LX/S001 is an IP65 rated AC servo motor, engineered to be used in potentially explosive applications. When operated with TDS, KDS, and DSC drive controllers, the motor performs well in conjunction with machine tools, textile machines and robotics. The brushless design of the MAC071A AC motor makes it possible to operate seamlessly at a rated speed of 2000 revolutions per minute. The motor uses 2.6 A of rated current to generate a continuous torque of 2.2 Nm. The rotor function produces a moment of inertia at a rate of 5.4 x 10-4 kgm2. At 20 degrees Celsius, the AC is designed to produce a continuous torque of 0.860 Nm/A with a winding resistance of 7.6 Ohm.
This model is engineered to provide winding inductance of 42 mH when operated in specified ambient conditions, i.e. temperature, humidity, and altitude. The maximum peak of pulse current is measured to be 13 A. The MAC071A AC servo motor weighs 6.5 kg and operates with a thermal time constant of 45 minutes. The AC motor allows power connection from side B. With a centering diameter of 95mm, the servo motor runs smoothly as modern automated systems require.
This MAC071A motor incorporates a mounted standard tacho-feedback system that generates signals proportional to the motor speed. The package includes an incremental or absolute encoder, which adds to the resolution of the motor. The ‘WI’ in the type code denotes the standard mounting with the incremental encoder. The tacho voltages are set to nominal motor speed. When operating at speed <3000 RPM, the tacho voltages will be 1.5V/1000 min-1. This Indramat AC servo motor does not include blocking brakes but can be ordered if needed.
