Product Description
The MAC071A-0-ES-4-C/095-B-0/WA612XX/S001 is a 6.5kg rapid-response AC servo motor drive manufactured by the Rexroth Bosch Group. The MAC servo motor is a permanent magnet-excited motor with electronic commutation. The feedback system consists of a standard tacho type C feedback, with an option for equipping a mounted encoder for high-resolution speed and position feedback. The motor feedback cable is compatible with both straight and angle connectors and makes use of a 12-pin flanged socket. The power connector for this particular model is connector B. The AC servo motor is designed with high-efficiency windings and low-loss materials to minimize energy consumption.
The servo motor features a continuous torque at a standstill of 2.2Nm (or 3.3Nm if surface cooling is applied). The speed range is 4200rpm with a maximum torque of 6.1Nm. MAC 071 servo motors support three types of cooling systems; natural convection, radial cooling and axial cooling. This particular model supports natural convection cooling. The maximum duty cycle time of the MAC071 is 15 minutes. The motor length is A and the nominal rpm is 4000min-1.
The permissible ambient temperature range it functions within is 0°C to 45°C, with a safe storage and transportation range of -20°C to 80°C and a maximum installation elevation of 1000m above sea level. It also has an insulation classification of IP 65, which provides excellent protection against water ingress and dust. The product has a flange design which supports mounting with through holes. There is also the option for a holding brake, with a holding torque of 3Nm and 6.5Nm, to provide more stability by clamping the output shaft at a standstill even when the power is off.
