Product Description
The Bosch Rexroth MAC063D-2-FS-4-C/095-A-0/WI521LV is a motor with an integrated axial cooling fan. The fan requires 115 Volts AC external power supply. Additional options for axial cooling include fans rated for 230 Volts AC. In addition operators can order convection cooled MAC motors or motors with radial fans rated for 115 or 230 Volts AC. The radial fans can be ordered with their placement below or to the left side of the motor. The MAC063D-2-FS-4-C/095-A-0/WI521LV is equipped with a standard tacho generator which can measure the rotational speed and angular velocity of the motor shaft. The generator outputs a voltage that is proportional to the shaft speed. The shaft speed and position are transmitted in real time to the servo controller tasked with controlling motor parameters. A dedicated feedback cable carries the feedback. This cable connects to the feedback socket on the motor housing.
The tacho feedback connector must be ordered separately. The controller supplies motor power through a dedicated power cable. This cable connects to a socket on side A of the housing. The power connector must also be ordered as a separate item. Nominal speed of the surface cooled motor is 6000 RPM. Its mechanical specifications include 262 millimeters length, 95 millimeters centering diameter, 100 millimeters flange size, and 5.3 kilograms mass. Applications for MAC motors include robotics, printing presses, handling equipment and machine tools. MAC motors are made with permanent magnets and support electronic commutation. The brushless motor design and use of life-time lubricated bearings enables maintenance free operation. An integrated sensor monitors winding temperature and enables overload protection. Only qualified personnel with relevant experience should be involved in motor installation and operation.
