Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MAC motors create rapid-response servo drives with the TDM, KDS and DSC drive controllers. They are servo motors with electronic commutation and are ideal for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. These motors are also used in textile machines, printing machines, robotics, and machine tools.
The MAC063C-0-MS-4-C/095-A-1/WI571LX is an AC servo motor with a nominal speed of 3,500 revolutions per minute in the MAC series. It has an IP-65-rated housing per DIN 40 050, which protects it from the penetration of multidirectional water jets and solid external materials. This means it can be used within the direct working area of the machine, even under unfavorable environmental conditions without the risk of damage. The housing is coated with a black prime varnish that is highly resistant to weathering, yellowing, and chalky buildup. There is a blocking brake of 3Nm torque in the servo motor to hold the servo axes backlash-free when the machine is disconnected from power. It protects users and equipment from harm and reduces energy consumption by the motor.
With the brushless design of the MAC063C-0-MS-4-C/095-A-1/WI571LX, its maintenance-free operation is possible. The MAC model also comes in a compact package and has a high power-to-weight ratio. Its high overload capability is due to efficient heat dissipation from its stator windings to the outside walls of its housing. Overall, it is cooled via natural convection. Pinions and belt pulleys can be directly attached to its shaft since the design of its bearing assembly permits the application of high radial loads. To simplify its installation, the MAC motor uses ready-made cables and can be installed in any orientation.
