Product Description
With a commitment to innovation and quality, Bosch Rexroth continues to push the boundaries of motion control technology. Its MAC motors are compact AC servo motors known for their precision, reliability, and versatility. These make them the ideal choice for applications like robotics and textile machines.
The MAC063C-0-MS-4-C/095-A-1/WI515LV/S001 is a Bosch Rexroth MAC motor with a rotor moment of inertia of 4.0 x 10-4 kgm2. Its rotor has permanent magnets obtained from rare-earth materials, giving the motor a low inertia and high power density. Its feedback type is tacho feedback with an incremental encoder with standard mounting and it guarantees the precise evaluation of rotor position and velocity. The mounted encoder is especially designed for Indramat motors and is extremely resistant to harsh environmental conditions. Since the motor’s housing is sealed in line with the IP 65 requirements per DIN 40 050, it can also be used within the direct working area of the machine. The black prime paint coating this housing also protects it from weathering, yellowing, chalky buildup, and dilute acids.
Two features that enhance the operational reliability of the MAC063C-0-MS-4-C/095-A-1/WI515LV/S001 are its brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings. They allow the motor to be operated maintenance-free, improving its overall efficiency and supporting its cost-effective operation. The nominal speed of the MAC motor is 3,000 revolutions per minute. It is cooled by natural convection and has a temperature monitoring system comprising thermo switches to prevent overload damage. Like others in the series, it also has a high cyclic load capacity due to electronic commutation. Consequently, it is suitable for continuous start-stop operations with high repetitive frequencies.
