Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s drive and automation products have a quality that causes them to stand out. The MAC motors are AC servo motors with electronic commutation, built by the company to support diverse applications. They are commonly used in printing presses, packaging machinery, robotics, and handling equipment.
The MAC063C-0-MS-4-C/095-A-1/WA610XX/S001 is one of the brushless AC servo motors of the MAC series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It uses natural convection for heat dissipation, a heat exchange mechanism that relies on temperature and density gradients between the motor and its surroundings. With the thermo switches in its windings and stator housing, irreversible damage due to overheating can be averted. The thermo switches monitor its temperature and initiate protective mechanisms at threshold temperatures. Operating the MAC model within the working area of the machine, even under poor environmental conditions is possible due to its sealed housing. It protects the motor from the penetration of solid extrinsic materials and multidirectional water jet sprays, having an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65.
An output shaft with keyway, according to the requirements of DIN 6885-1, ensures a form-fitting torque transmission in the MAC063C-0-MS-4-C/095-A-1/WA610XX/S001. It also has a standard blocking brake of 3.0Nm torque for a backlash-free holding of the servo axes when the machine is powered off. Its housing is painted with a black prime varnish that is resistant to chalky buildup, weathering, yellowing, lyes, and dilute acids. Equipped with lifetime-lubricated bearings, the motor can be operated maintenance-free. The design of its bearing assembly aids the application of high radial loads and the direct attachment of pinions and belt pulleys onto its shaft.
