Product Description
Bosch Rexroth invests in research-driven processes to create futuristic drive and motion control units for diverse applications. Its compact MAC motors are AC servo motors with low inertia and high power-to-weight ratios. They are used in textile machines, printing presses, and transfer facilities.
The MAC063C-0-MS-4-C/095-A-0/WI531LX is a model of the high-performance MAC servo motors with excellent and smooth running qualities, thanks to the special design of its stator and its high-resolution tacho feedback. It uses electronic commutation to guarantee high efficiency and has a brushless design, resulting in less maintenance requirements. Electronic commutation permits the use of the motor in continuous start-stop operations with high repetitive rates. This is because it guarantees the high cyclic load capacity necessary for such operations. The MAC model also has bearings with a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours. They are built to remain lubricated during this period, ensuring the motor’s maintenance-free operation.
With a bearing assembly that accommodates high radial loads, pinions and belt pulleys can be directly mounted onto the shaft of the MAC063C-0-MS-4-C/095-A-0/WI531LX. It is equipped with tacho feedback and a mounted incremental encoder with standard mounting for detecting its rotor position and velocity. Like other MAC motors, this model has thermo switches with a temperature monitoring function in its windings and stator housing. Its nominal speed is 3,500 revolutions per minute, while its centering diameter is 95mm. To protect it from dust ingress and multidirectional water jet sprays, it is enclosed in a housing with an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 per DIN 40 050. A black prime coat covering the housing protects it from weathering, yellowing, and chalky build-up.
