Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MAC servo motors adopt futuristic technology in their design and function. They are permanent magnet-excited servo motors with excellent smooth running qualities. These motors are available with different options to ensure application-specific use. Their typical applications include printing presses and packaging machinery.
The MAC063C-0-MS-2-C/095-B-0/S031 is a MAC motor model cooled by natural convection. It displays a high overload capability with efficient heat transfer from its windings to the outside walls of its housing. With thermo switches in its windings and stator housing, its temperature is monitored to prevent irreversible damage due to thermal overload. The MAC motor’s nominal speed is 3,500 revolutions per minute, while its centering diameter is 95mm. It is equipped with tacho feedback with the standard tacho type for detecting its rotor position and velocity. Since its sealed housing meets the IP 65 demands per DIN 40 050, it can be operated within the direct working area of the machine. This housing protects it from the effects of coolants and soluble oil emulsions in such areas, as it is touch-proof, dustproof, and safe from water jet sprays.
Electronic commutation of the MAC063C-0-MS-2-C/095-B-0/S031 provides the high cyclic load capacity required for operations like continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. The MAC motor also has a brushless design with lifetime-lubricated bearings to facilitate its maintenance-free operation and enhance its operational reliability. It accommodates a maximum current of 22A and has a rotor moment of inertia of 4.0 x 10-4 kgm2. Its bearing assembly has a design that permits the application of high radial loads and the direct attachment of pinions and belt pulleys to the shaft.
