Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MAC motors are permanent magnet-excited servo motors with low inertia. Their rotors are built with permanent magnets derived from rare-earth materials to achieve this. These motors form rapid-response servo drives combined with the TDM, KDS and DSC drive controllers.
The MAC063C-0-MS-1-C/095-B-0/-I00500/S106 is a model of the compact AC servo motors in Bosch Rexroth’s MAC series. It has inbuilt thermo switches in its windings and stator housing for monitoring its temperature and to prevent damage due to thermal overload. This improves the motor’s operational reliability. Other features that contribute to this are its enclosed housing and power and tacho feedback cables. They are designed to meet the demands of the IP 65 Ingress protection category per DIN 40 050. Consequently, the risk-free operation of the motor under poor environmental conditions and within the direct working area of the machine is possible. It also has a brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings that aid its maintenance-free operation.
A black prime coating with protective properties against yellowing, chalky buildup, weathering, dilute acids, and lyes covers the MAC063C-0-MS-1-C/095-B-0/-I00500/S106. The servo motor can attain a nominal speed of 3,500 revolutions per minute. Its bearing assembly makes the application of high radial loads possible. As a result, pinions and belt pulleys can be directly mounted onto the shaft. Thanks to its compact size, it has a high power-to-weight ratio and can be installed in any orientation. It also uses various ready-made cables to eliminate additional installation work. Like other MAC motors, this model displays high overload capabilities due to efficient heat dissipation from the stator windings to the outside walls of the motor housing.
