Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MAC motors are state-of-the-art AC servo motors with tacho feedback. They have favorable torque-inertia ratios for highly dynamic operations and impressive overload capabilities. Their typical applications include textile machines, printing presses, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The MAC063C-0-HS-4-C/095-B-1/WI532LX/S001 is an AC servo motor in the MAC series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is enclosed in a housing painted with a black prime coat resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky buildup, dilute acids, and lyes. This housing permits the safe operation of the motor within the working area of the machine, even under poor environmental conditions caused by coolants and soluble oil emulsions. Its Ingress Protection rating, according to DIN 40 050, is IP 65, as it is protected from dust ingress and the penetration of water jets from different directions. The MAC motor reaches a nominal speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute and accommodates a maximum current of 36A. It also has a centering diameter of 95mm.
There are fewer maintenance requirements with the operation of the MAC063C-0-HS-4-C/095-B-1/WI532LX/S001, as it is equipped with bearings that remain lubricated throughout their service life. This bearing type also reduces the risk of damage due to improper or insufficient lubrication. The motor has a brushless design and compact size, delivering a high power-to-weight ratio. It features electronic commutation for smooth motion control and noiseless operation. Electronic commutation also gives the motor a high cyclic load capacity, making it suitable for continuous start-stop operations with high repetitive frequencies. Its rotor’s permanent magnets are composed of rare-earth materials, giving the motor a low inertia. This rotor’s moment of inertia is 4.0 x 10-4 kgm2.
