Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MAC servo motors are permanent magnet-excited motors with tachofeedback. They are used to create rapid-response drives combined with the TDM, KDS and DSC drive controllers. The typical applications of these motors include textile machines, printing presses, and machine tools.
The MAC063A-0-RS-4-C/095-B-1/WA612XX is one of the compact servo motors in the MAC series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is equipped with a standard holding brake of 3Nm holding torque for the backlash-free holding of the servo axes when the machine is powered off. Its rotor’s permanent magnets are made up of materials that give it low inertia. As a result, it performs highly dynamic operations due to a favorable torque-inertia ratio. Like other MAC motors, this model has thermo switches integrated into its windings and stator housing to prevent overload damage. It also has a high overload capacity because heat is efficiently dissipated from the housing onto the outside walls of the motor housing.
Operating the MAC063A-0-RS-4-C/095-B-1/WA612XX in poor environmental conditions without the risk of damage is possible thanks to its sealed housing. This housing has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 according to DIN 40 050, indicating that it is dustproof, touch-proof, and impervious to multidirectional water jets. It is also coated with a black prime varnish resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky build-ups, lyes, and dilute acids. Tachofeedback in this MAC servo motor allows the detection of both rotor position and velocity. Its centering diameter is 95mm, and it can attain a nominal speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute. At 20oC, its windings resistance is 3.7 Ohm while its torque constant is 0.230 Nm/A.
